Do You Know a Good Breakfast Place Near South Granville?

Hello all,

This seems to be a squirrelly question to ask on an escort review board, but I'm too much of an internet novice to know where else i should ask such a thing.

A group of friends and I are heading for breakfast tomorrow morning, and what I'd like to know is:

Where would you go for breakfast in the area between SW Marine and say, 16th Ave near Granville?

Marpole, Shaugnessy, or Kerrisdale would be ideal. There appears to be a shortage of decent diners and breakfast joints around here. I guess the shi-shi-poo-poo-la-ti-da matrons don't do benedicts.

One of us is a die-hard meat eater, so bacon must be on the menu, and atmosphere counts. Price doesn't matter so much; tastiness is paramount.

I used to go to the coast hotel for brunch when I used to work down there. Nice and quiet, clean, good service and good food.

within those boundaries, I would suggest Caffe Barney's on Granville & 13th. It's not the most intimate setting if you would like peace and quiet but good place for brunch.

This is further north than 16th but there is Paul's "omelettery" at Granville and 8th, or so.

But expect a lineup on weekends and it is between 6th and 7th on the west side of Granville
