Do you have a Voting Strategy for the Federal Elections?

Just a quick poll. You do not have to name the party you will be voting for and I am trying to guage how people will vote.

i haven't made up my mind yet

although i'm a conservative in my political outlook, i think the cons have crossed the line with some of their 'conservative lifestyle' legislation (C-36 being just one of many)

however, i cannot bring myself to EVER vote ndp or liberal, especially a liberal party whose leader bears the same last name as my personal most-hated-ever politiician

so that leaves two choices:
1) vote green to register my displeasure with some of the cons legislation
2) spoil my ballot with some smart-ass comment about the cons lifestyle legislation

i also don't really believe in deliberately spoiling ballots, so that leaves voting for the green candidate in my riding

you can see why i haven't made up my mind yet!! :doh:

That pretty much sums up how I feel about this election.

I've voted for everyone except NDP in the past.

The Canadian Republican Party has crossed the line with C36, C51 to name two reasons.

I did meet my Green candidate and was suitably impressed with the pitch. WTH it maybe throwing a vote away but at least I am not plugging my nose to vote for the Cons

I am lucky to have a Libertarian candidate in my riding. All the main parties are populated by idiots. At least by voting Libertarian I won't feel like I need to bathe in hydrochloric acid to feel clean afterwards

I want to vote just for the sake of voting but I don't like any of the choices. I feel like I'm at one of those restaurants where it doesn't matter what I order on the menu, all of it will make me sick :doh:

I might end up just hiding under a blanket until it's all over, but then I'll feel guilty for not voting...

Given your choices, can I suggest that you vote ANYTHING but the wooden puppet for the Conservative Party, and figure out who is the candidate most likely to beat any Conservative candidate, and vote for them. Your vote will be helping Canada as a whole.

As of yesterday's polls, in my riding the New Democrats and Conservatives are within statistical variation for the lead and the Liberals and Greens likewise far to the rear.

I know I won't be voting for Stevie's gang!

Called that one before the results started coming in The local Conservative winner in Langley Aldergrove did nothing but spew sour grapes in the defeat of his leader. No class whatsoever

ahh I felt exactly this same way honestly. I was also planning to hide under the blanket, but I did feel guilty today so I decided to go at the very last minute 30 mins before polls closed and now I feel better :thumb::cheer2:
