Yes, I think 200 is a magic minimum number and if you go below that (outside of a micro) you are increasing your risks. It is not an unusual rate for anything outside of Vancouver/Burnaby however, and very common to get great sps in Abbotsford, btw. A lot of rates are designed to limit certain types of callers, so the sp uses it to reflect a quality experience as opposed to the in&out assembly line.
It is also based a bit on age, location, services offered. Coquitlam rates are lower than Vancouver rates for similar sps, in other words. Older sps may charge less than younger ones, etc. Rates can also reflect their costs -- like if they don't have a steady incall location, but have to rent hotel their rates can be higher than others.
There are always options if you want to spend less than 200/hr, you go older sp, outside of Vancouver, less than full service, take a half hour or 45 minutes not an hour, you go to a micro, etc. There are lots of possibilities, so you have to decide what you want and what you don't want. And how far you might want to travel to get it lol.
