You could probably just e-mail them and ask them first? Since I'd assume it varies from SP to SP.
You're in Canada. Pay in Canadian dollars. We do actually have our own currency here, you know?

At the moment at least, America $ is worth more than Canadian $, so why wouldn't they, as long as you accept on par valuation.

Hey, man! Nice to see a post from you again in any case. Seems like there are plenty of options available to exchange the currency for Canadian, so easier to just do so and be on the safe side, I would think. I seem to recall that at one time the Carman Fox site noted a surcharge for compensating in American currency despite the fact that the American dollar was valued significantly higher than the Canadian at that time. Honestly, that didn't make a lot of sense to me but there you have it

I have a wad of cash from the US that I never bothered to put into my account. I looked at it recently and it's colours were all different than the standard black and white. Some had an almost beige colour tinge to them. Hope they are real, I got them from a Casino in Vegas
I know Victoria Jolie had a thread about this because we are charged at the bank when we deposit USD into our Canadian Chequing accounts. For a touring SP, it can cost a significant amount of $ in transaction fees.
Edited to add - IIRC Yoko Anna got stung by fake USD when on tour in Alberta.
Best thing to do is go get the C$ at any Bank and pay in C$. It's less hassle for all involved.
They've had those bills for a while. New security feature. The first time I got one I went WTF? If you got it from a Vegas casino I guarantee it's real. It's very bad for business for a casino to pass on counterfeit money.
I also take US money... never had a problem with counterfeit bills.. I just use it as extra spending money and don't bother sticking it into my bank account... Every store etc in Vancouver takes it..
