Ive always been curious as to how many other fellas find it annoying when the ladies call us names.

Hun, or sweety, babe, darling, sexy, stud....etc

God I forget what other ones Ive heard.
But me personally, it drives me NUTS. I have walked out of a meeting because she kept using those pet names. I even asked her to tone it down.

Its almost insulting. Please, I know im no sexy stud muffin...farthest thing from it. So why call me that.

Guys, do you like it or is it a turn off too? What kind of stuff have you heard?
Gals, why do you use them? Is it a mental thing that makes it easier for you to get through the session?

There was this girl I went to school with that called me "tiger" out of the blue one day... I fucking loved that.

As long as they don't call me something derogatory, I couldn't care less. Those sound much better than "fatso" or "creep".

What about British store clerks that call you "Luv"? As in "Be right with you, Luv."

Your post kind of reminds me of Alan Harper in the episode where he couldn't get laid, because the working girl Charlie hooked him up with kept complimenting him.

I dont care about that crapulence.....what offends me is when an SP has an attitude of entitlement to what is in my wallet....like it is HERS....now that pisses me off big time.

Don't like it, but don't day anything about it. Calling me sexy, hottie, stud, etc. bugs me. Dear, honey, love, etc, I don't mind.

I'm guilty of applying a double standard. Like calling girls buttercup, dear, sweet pea.

went to a pub, barmaid said "waddaya want Hon?

I said,"Hon,isn't sure,Hon needs more time to decide,
Hon may even go to a pub where he doesn't get called Hon"

totally went over the head of this bimbo, hired for her tits, not her brains.

I guess you would call it serendipity, if your first name
was Attila :)

I hate "Hun" too - it sounds so.....prostitute. Like I can hear the gum cracking at the same time.

I don't mind at all if it's not in a condescending way :)
Absolutley hate 'hun'! So impersonal... I too can hear the gum cracking or the cigarette dangling out of the mouth. My current beau called me hunny... I am almost reacted negatively - then I thought of winnie the pooh :). But HUN! ugg.

I'm with Vanesssa on this one.

However I can't stand hun! So many girls say it. Not just working girls. It sounds phony. I cringe when I get called hun, but only on the inside. I'm far too polite to actually say anything to someone trying to be nice lol

My Fav Lady calls me Mister and I call her Miss, all in a courteous, respectful and friendly banter.

I once had a little fight with one of my ex because I called him "honey bum bum."
It sounded cute, and I still think it is kindda cute.
I suppose one of qualification I expect on my boyfriend will be accepting the pet name.

'Hun' and 'Sweety' are pretty universal aren't they? And they're just common terms of endearment... not patronizing references to sexual prowess... Loosen up Bro! :)

my sp
suddenly started calling me a wiener,

we have been together along time, she never really said any terms of endearment in all the years i have known her,

i generaly don't like them, im paying her, it seems so phoney.

i saw her recently
we were both a little upset, stuff in our personal life that shall remain personal

but at one point she burst out with your such a wiener
the shock of it brought us both to laughter, and we both needed something to laugh about

she still calls me a wiener,
with a little to much joy and enthusiasm
i think,

such is my life, and i pay her for this.
