This was weird.
Come up behind a minibike at stoplight, stoplight turns green bike doesn't move. Rider is obviously looking down at a phone.
Light goes back to red, there are now several car lengths to the intersection and he is still tapping away.
Honk but no response.
Light is now green, again, guy is still tapping away.
I get out of my car and tell him to quit playing with his phone.
He tells me it's his GPS. I can see it's a big phone clipped onto a handlebar mount and anyway it's still a handheld device.
He gives me the finger. I thought about grabbing it and breaking it, but there were several onlookers by now. He puts up his fists and says "Do you want to go right now?!" but he is way smaller than me...
Got back in my car and now I'm waiting for the cops to come visit. He looked like the kind of weasel who challenges you and then cries to the cops that you assaulted.
I know I did everything wrong wrong, fuck am I ever mad, just don't be an idiot like me okay?

Take a video/photo of him on his phone and his licence plate, send it in to the cops and he’ll receive a nice present in the mail.

Even with $500+ fines, there are the same number of texting while driving as usual.

I was on Powell St this morning and could see a woman driving behind me who was looking at her phone. Traffic came to a sudden stop so I laid on my horn hoping she would hear it. Luckily she stopped in time to not hit me. Traffic resumed and she was back on her phone again. This addiction needs to be dealt with by taking licences away until they smarten up.

I said look at the line of cars you are holding up and he gave me the finger.
In his own little world, oblivious to everyone else, but he’s in turning lane on a busy street.

I live on the Rock
My crew actually came to a stop, while laying on the horn as a guy drove into the side of my truck. One of the crew was a road tester for ministry before & he could tell that the driver was looking down.
He commented to driver prior to cops showing up & the guy actually said he didn’t have a cellphone, which he started talking on just before crew left!
They told cops & truck was written off by ICBC?

You cant fix stupid even with duct tape.....what really pisses me off is assholes who pay more attention to their fucking phone when they are at a poker table and slowing down the game.

The only thing more annoying is people who walk backwards whilst holding a conversation whilst being oblivious to their surroundings.....I think/feel it should be my and every persons RIGHT to be allowed to punch people like that right in the back of the head
between the "elevenses" and then say PAY ATTENTION.

Dashcams are very inexpensive and you can record all stupid road users ahead of you. There are ones you can also install to record from multiple sides.

People love their phones more so than their privilege to be able to drive. I think a better solution would be a temporary ban on owning a cell phone. I worked at Rogers years ago, and we had clients who had bad credit or a history of not paying their bills with other providers and we would actually refuse them with a new account. If telecom companies can decline someone's application for a new service activation I don't see why they can't do the same to those who have been barred by the police from owning one.

Here’s one, saw a young lady, assuming it would be the mother. Walking with a very young baby in a stroller, coffee in hand, cell phone propped on the handle. And a fucking Rottweiler with leash tied up to the stroller..... god, why would you give the care of that child to a brainless mother.... just saying.
Or even the Rottweiler!

You see that all the time. Parents pushing strollers with infants in them, occupied on their device instead of interacting with their baby. Completely missing the important interaction that MUST occur between birth and 2 years in order to form a healthy "attachment." And then they wonder why the kid doesn't listen or respect them by the time hey are 7 or 8. DUH!

Put it out of your mind. One day this asshole is going to pull his routine with someone who has a shorter fuse than you or better yet an undercover cop and end up in the hospital or handcuffs.

My brother-in-law's dear departed father was VPD. 6'6 ", 280 lb, Scotsman, ex- British commando. Years ago he and his partner are working vice so they are looking pretty scruffy and driving an older beat up car. They get behind a guy at a light who just sits there when it turns green. They give him a honk. The guy and his passenger decide to be tough guys and get out of their vehicle and start threatening them. He and his partner initially did nothing as these assholes where not worth breaking their cover over. Suddenly one of these assholes throws a beer bottle at their car.
Lets just say it didn't end well for those 2 assholes who besides a beat down had drugs and a concealed weapon in their car.

Cheers

Well, it is an AWD MDX. And she used her turn signal to get off the sidewalk.
if you look at the driver's

1. gender
2. ethnicity

it reinforces a couple of stereotypes.

just an observation,lol.

I think that all drivers should be issued with paint-ball guns so that the really shitty drivers would be easy to spot because their cars would be covered in paint.....LOL....
