Discussion on porn actresses in adult film industry

I was browsing at my porn movies collection and it triggered this thought. Anyone notice American female porn actresses that appear in porn movies nowadays tend to be more "meaty" than the ones in movies that were filmed during the 70's and 80's? To me, the porn stars in classic films are much more appealing than the "over-enchanced" tits which are common among present porn actresses in the Amercian adult film industry. That's why I have stopped renting American productions and switched to films that are produced in Europe since the actresses are more my type. Am I the only one thinking about this?

I agree. The perfect example of this is the queen of American porn herself, Jenna Jameson. I saw a very early scene of her in one of those "casting couch" type of productions and she was the most adorable thing I have ever seen. She was the perfect girl next door. Not a grotesque amount of makeup and no fake stuff. She was young, sweet, cute and sexy as hell. Then she got the implants and now I can barely look at her, knowing what she left behind in order to cater to the tastes of the majority of porn fans. The majority, apparently, like big, plastic tits.

My favourite series is the Dirty Debutante series from Ed Powers. There is no mind numbing porno music in the background (dammit, I hate that crap). Not all of the girls who work with Ed do so because they are getting into porn. Some just like the idea of being flimed having sex. Ed accomodates them as well as those who see him as the springboard to a career in porn movies. His DVDs are always sexy, fun, entertaining and just plain easy to watch.

I prefer the european porn myself too. Not just appearance wise for the actresses (real looking beauty), they have a more enthusiastic and therefore hotter approach to doing the deed. They are more concerned with getting down and dirty and having a good time then whether or not they look good on film. Some of those girls in the Private film label seemed to be willing to do anything. Good stuff!

I can't say whether American porn actresses are any different now than they were 20 years ago but the two most noticeable things that jump out at me are the number of actresses with cheap boob jobs. I've got nothing against enhancements but soooo many actresses have, IMO, 10 cent surgeries.

My other observation is the lack of " stars " these days. Since the retirement of Jenna and Janine who is the biggest star in the biz ?
