I am a down the middle type girl. Enough communication so I know what you want including services and outfits but not into exact detail of what will happen because I can always tell when the person on the other end of the phone is wanking off :doh: Phone is nice, get a better idea of what a person is like. Text is also ok, better during busy times so I can respond as soon as I am free. Email, well I hate by email unless it is precise when trying to book. Not when its "Hey are you available next week" Usually ends up with a dozen emails back and forth before a time is confirmed. If you know the day and time you want not a problem. Problem with email is it usually 1-6 hrs round trip on replies/responses and can be confusing. I prefer being able to set a date, time and preferences quickly and timely like in text or old fashioned voice communication.

You will find each SP will have her preferred mode of communication and you will have to figure out what works best for both of you. Flakes have no excuse, a quick 10 second text or phone call is all that is needed because as we all know, the real world sometimes comes in and affects the hobby world. This works for SP and Pooners alike. Just like the other thread that is going on this board, common courteously, a lost art.

I agree with you Riza, I will answer my phone, I prefer text (only because I might be out, at school etc), email or pm. Lately when I answer the phone the guy is clearly wanting a quick jerk off, so I often ask gentlemen to send a quick text asking if I can take a phone call.
Its always best to communicate as clear as possible in a respectful manner.
Also as mention, we all have busy lives and sometimes things take time.

So many pooners have experienced this. One of the reasons long ago that I selected a sole provider carefully that worked with me on all the issues involved so that we formed a reliable relationship. Well some of these have lasted five to seven years. Beneficial all the way around. This stuff about bouncing from one to another and going through this stuff is a waste.

Well at the moment my last friend has returned to Europe so back to slowly trying to start again. Taking time is worth it. Some one moved into my area so we will see what happens

This is where I fail. I don't have a phone with a texting capability. For a good many ladies, this eliminates me from their consideration. I'm sure, however, that the vast majority of potential clients do have texting capability, so ladies who insist on text aren't losing out on much business.

I suppose if you're willing/able to send an email, that may help. But most ladies are not near their work phone every minute of the day, and it's actually important to book a time, even for a phonecall. Did you know that there are free apps that offer texting that is not associated with your phone number?

2 or 3 of the SPs that have responded to the thread say that they block text and calls from internet apps.

I dont insist on texting but being a student and I do train at the gym most people call at bad times ....lol

but if you send a pm or email with a number that I can expect a call from I will be more than happy to pick up and make sure I can talk discreetly.

I also dont agree with texting aps because to often time wasters, pimps, other ladies, use these tools for fake bookings so one must see all sides of the situation.

I'm fairly new to the Vancouver hobby scene. Contacted 4 sp's this past week. All under 23. They've either stopped responding to my texts, respond a day later, or never answer in the first place. It's like Plentyoffish.

I've found the older ones less flakey, but I want something young and fresh. Do I need to attend a game workshop to learn how to convince one of them to follow through? Just lol at being born male.

Well, he did say that the 'mature' ladies are less flakey; so I would guess that they follow through.
We can assume that it may not be his texting style that is getting in the way.
