kinda stupid leadership ... best player on their team, so he get`s into a fight over some third line team-mate: gets a penalty for fighting, gets extra for instigator and could end up getting hurt (maybe breaks a finger on Ruutu`s thick skull) and is out for 6 weeks ...

Leadership From Iggy

First off quality guy. Very likeable and humble off the ice. Fuck the penealy which is what Iggy said, our team will deal with it. It is imposing your will on the other team.

The Oil for 5 years have played "AFRAID" to make mistakes and take "questionable" aggression penalties. That is what makes them so frustrating to watch.

Clean hits happen all the time, but the "intent to injure" is in the rule book but never called.

I feel that they desire of players to blow a guy up and get onto sports centre is bad for the game. The hard hard vicious checks (under the guise of being clean) were never really intended to be a part of hockey. And have increase substantially with more and better equipment and helmets.

The Moore hit was clean, but dirty in the sense that he tried to take out a player who was vulnerable. It wasnt necessary to the play. Naslund got hurt by it. and Colorado hid behind it was a clean hit.

I am not condoning Bertuzzi at all, just acknoledging Vancover retaliting and Moore having to fight Cooke to start the game.

Blowing up a guy becasue you can, isn't good for hockey, and even the NFL calls penelties for hits like that against a vulnerable QB or Receiver. Despite more and better equipment (specifically helmets)

Call the intent to injure, and review those type of hits at the league. I see no really reason for them.
