I learned many hard lessons with this hobby, been scammed, gone to many doors where the women were not the same as the pictures and walled away, I was lucky that I found some SPs that I could visit on a regular basis and not have to worry about the bullshit anymore. I would suggest to you as a newbie to the board, as are you that you use the members advice and follow their leads. When in doubt do your research and if your stuck ask for help, you want to make sure that you can have fun without the worry. Make sure that when you do find good SPs you let the members know.
