*Please note that the below comment is my personal opinion on the City exercising its power unfairly. I accept that some may have alternate opinions but this is mine.
While no one is a bigger proponent of social distancing than I, this is a perfect example of Big Brother, in this case the City of Winnipeg, once again using it's powers to legislate morality. Is there a higher risk of transmission by kissing or engaging in sexual services, of course. But who is to say that the person preparing or serving your food in the restraurant that is now open, didn't inadvertantly contaminate your plate or cutlery? The sexual aspect of the service aside, there are many othr businesses operating right now where they are allowing increased contact (physiotherapists, RMT's, waxing/sugaring businesses, etc). I went to see my RMT the other day and half way through she took her mask off. Their A/C wasn't on and she calimed it was too hot to wear it.
My point being because of the rules Body Rub Parlours have to operate under, where they pretty well have to allow inspectors in any time, any day with no notice, the City takes advantage of that rule to unfairly pick on them and shut them down.
