Things appeared to be improving at Diamonds.
Management was taking a more active role both with attendants as well as here online; facilities are being better maintained, etc.
However, I've walked out last two times because the attendant I was told who was on duty, in fact, was not there. Lately, there has been a tendency among some ladies at the desk to decline accurate information over the phone or accept bookings.
My time is worth something. When I'm told attendants A or B are present, I expect them to be there. Saying that a person is there when they're really not is a form of Bait and Switch. In this case, perhaps the attendant is hoping that we will select someone else who is present.
I can understand when attendants are scheduled to be on duty and they don't show up. But, in this case, it's happening so often that it seems to be a marketing strategy. If it is, I suggest that this is turning off more clients instead of helping.
To be fair, the bait and switch (bait over the phone and try to switch them when a client shows up) is coming from just one or two attendants. There are still those who play fair and treat clients with respect..
I hope management reads this post as a wake-up call and does something to correct this practise. Since they are now paid advertisers, I suggest that Diamonds take this opportunity to explain to us how they plan to operate.
