Earlier today (4 pm, now 8) sent a $100 epayment deposit to:
https://www.leolist.cc/personals/fe...ctoria_kayla_10_10_model_here_to_play-3881970
...and still haven't heard back from her, even with my multiple inquiries into what's going on on her end. One would think that after four hours one would have their shit together enough to respond. Maybe she's a user and nodded off - who bloody knows. I guess this newbie'll live n'learn. Speaking of newbies: does TOFT mean going there and doing an instant u-turn, or is it being a fucking gentleman and deciding to go through with the transaction, even though you know IT AIN'T HER?
So is that a red flag, then? Requests for deposits? Or is that just making a bad name for honest service providers who do? Until I hear otherwise, I think I'll avoid the deposit situation.

Anyway, I'll text her now to see what she thinks of the perb review. ;)

I would suggest that a request for a deposit is a red flag, at least it is to me. It's too easy to be ripped off, as you see. I don't know of any reputable SPs who ask for a deposit.

TOFT stands for Took One for the Team and refers to taking a chance on someone unknown.

I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune and would suggest that you avoid anyone who doesn't have good reviews. Best wishes

Thanks.
I've been ripped off before, bit it was a different type of circumstance. I'm sure I'll come across yet another way to get ripped off. Heh - nothing like trial and error.
Yeah I knew what the acronym stood for, I just wasn't sure of its meaning, and I sure did do that, the first time around, a bit over a year ago. https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?237866-Fraudulent-service-worker

I'm noticing some ads that have pictures with workers holding LeoList signs, but those ads are not as frequently-appearing as I'd hoped. Hopefully those ones are legit indicators.

Hi OP, you can right click on any picture on the internet and check to see if it's legit or not, or paste the saved picture or URL in into Google image search.
This is a fake ad with pictures of a famous model in Australia. This isn't an escort (probably not even a woman) - just some scammer who posts these ads and gets deposits :(

She won't think anything about Perb review cos she or he is a scammer who preys on good, honest guys like you.I personally won't send money to anyone without meeting them in person.I guess sometimes we have to learn the hard way.I'm sticking with SVIPS for now cos they are the best option and the best service so far in Victoria.

If there is a deposit, it should never be more than $20 for a no show fee. (IMO). And yes, she won't care about the review as she can just change her phone number and pictures easily.

Pretty sure was scammed by the same person about 6 months ago when first moved here with totally different profile, red flag was the texts that recieved back were pretty much the exact same as before. Basically, if it sounds / looks too good to be true, it almost certainly is lol

Generally find the best way to determine whether or not the ad is fake is if they will answer a cold call of yours. Generally don't trust any ad that has only had text conversation and even so still ends up being a far shot from the ad. Best bet is SVIPs, GC or SU, between the three agencies there isn't much to be left wanting in Vic

She’s posting on LL in Kelowna now. Dodged that bullet. Thanks for your post OP and for TOFTT.
