By VIF are you talking about Islands Finest? If so I've never been asked for a deposit by them. I've paid a deposit to another agency (Vogue) before but it's because the SP there specifically had the requirement on their profile & not agency policy. Is it standard practice for VIF or others in Victoria to request a deposit when booking? Asking because I have used agencies in both Kelowna and Vancouver without this request.
I was asked for a deposit and that's the only reason I haven't booked there. Is it standard practice for VIF or others in Victoria to request a deposit when booking? Asking because I have used agencies in both Kelowna and Vancouver without this request.
My big thing is security. I don't know who runs their email, who has access to it, how many people see my full name on the deposit info.I don't see why giving a deposit to a reputable and registered business is a big deal? I would never give a deposit to an Indy on Leolist.
They may be asking because others may have cancelled last minute or not show up and in order to keep business flowing through the doors, they need you to show them you are committed.

I've been blackmailed and stalked once before by a SP to the point I had to involve law enforcement. It was an awful experience that lasted months and months and had lasting repercussions on my personal life. Never, every giving a deposit by etransfer again.
Fellas, you seem to forget the main curriculum of your "John's School of Economics" taught by none other than professor "PT Man / PHD (Pretty Huge DI personally never send an e-transfer, pay with a credit card, or provide my real name because who knows who handles those transactions? You don’t want your name, address, phone number, or banking info with sex workers or their handlers.
Access to the VIP room perhaps? That room has given me some great memories to cherish when I don't have enough cash to relive them.I could have posted this under the walking out thread...
I went to IF a while ago, and they wanted to charge me for something I'd previously gotten for free. It had to do with the room, not the SP. I only had enough cash for what I thought it would cost, so I had to walk. Now they ask for a deposit when I book.![]()
I've been asked for details: I booked a massage but asked for a regular room. Once I found out their policy, it made sense that they would charge more. The problem was they didn't tell me in advance, and I hadn't been charged for the same thing in the past. The irritant is now having to make a deposit every time I book. I hope I won't be penalized further because of this post. IF is still my go-to agency.Access to the VIP room perhaps? I've never been there just for a massage. I'm curious, do they have a room just for that?I've been asked for details: I booked a massage but asked for a regular room. There is a VIP room? What’s the difference?Access to the VIP room perhaps? That room has given me some great memories to cherish when I don't have enough cash to relive them.
There's an anteroom (not sure if thats the right word) with couches and a pole. A bedroom is attached. Lots of surfaces and room to explore. Had one visit with Jessica there and it was sublime. Although she could have had me in a closet and I'd have been a happy boy. She f'in rocks. There is a VIP room? What’s the difference?
Yes there's a room just for massage with a table not a bed. I'm happy to pay for the upgrade now that I know their policy.I've never been there just for a massage. I'm curious, do they have a room just for that?
This sounds like something that might perhaps simply clear itself up after a few more good visits. If it were me, I would request that they remove the need for a deposit since you're an upstanding (right?) and repeat client. Seems fair to me. I'm not sure what the actual issue is here. Seems like you might have just struck a nerve.
