Shouldn't we demand the resignation of the Justice Minister over Bill C36. With the conversation about, the growing opposition to it, should a Canada wide Poll on maybe PERB, TERB and MERB be started to demand this guy get the boot. If the pressure gets high enough, and vocal enough, either Harper will have to toss him or he will have to drop this bill.

How do you do a poll on this PERB?

What do you others think?

Good luck with that. Individual Ministers are used as the front man/women on caucus policies whether they agree or not. You can be assured that Harper and the vast majority of caucus is on side on this issue.

Actually: the vocal minority of the caucus wanted completed criminalization of everything, including the selling of sex. MacKay faced a minor revolt in caucus, and had to bring in Harper to convince them criminalizing prostitution wasn't gonna fly, and the only alternative to this would be complete decriminalization. Within this party at this time, MacKay could be considered a moderate.
Please remember this at the next election.

thanks to Emily Marie for the link, so since there is a way of expressing the issue otherwise, I will pass. Going on an extended vacation shortly, so not likely to have time to participate much here for awhile. Been a blast putting my two bits in, but it sounds like we have another battle ahead.

the only good thing about that bill is that it makes sex free!
