Demand for one-stop app?

Hello guys,

I want to start a discussion about having one mobile app to check out all the advertisements in the city along with credible reviews just like what we do here.

I would also like to discuss how we can make it more secure and private so that guys are not scammed by fake pictures.

I am happy to discuss this as I am able to get it done.

Looking forward to listening to happy, open minded people with positive criticism.

You'll have serious issues getting it published in the Apple app store. They tend to frown on anything that promotes something illegal. Android it would be much easier.

It could be a simple web program too. something as easy as logging in your gmail account from any device.

If you are going to build a website that runs robots to many sites, you are going to have a lot of I/O even before the traffic generated by the users. Plus, many of the sites you would want to mirror have code to block robots from "stealing" their content. Plus, you will have to off-shore the server(s) to prevent LE gaining access to your user list.

That's a lot of coding and work for a non-commercial application. Coding aside, the costs of hosting would be substantial. Maybe Fiddy should chime in. He's a guy who knows his web shit inside and out.

I am not sure about the costing, it is a fairly good point.

Def we need to ve aware of robots - don't wanna deal with that!
