Barrett Jackson is not useful at all in determining value. Prices are way overinflated and a lot of garbage (pigs with lipstick) flows through the Jackson. I found Mecum to be at least a little more honest. Muscle cars are still high in price these days but I feel demand will start dropping soon as fewer of the younger generation have interest in them. Now look at the prices of the Skylines, 300zx, and the like climbing in value. Someone mentioned a corvette above rather than the civic. Honestly though the Civic is more likely to hold its value over the vette. Other than something pre 1970 the corvettes are bad at holding any type of value. Will the new midengine be any different? We shall see.

Last time I was at Barrett Jackson I didn’t see much garbage there for cars.

I can’t say much given my screen name haha. I no longer have the car in my title anyway which is funny.

The irony is that as I graduate to nicer and nicer things in life, I better realize how insignificant it is and also how no matter how great a possession may be, there is always someone around the corner to humble me.
