did a quick search, but looking for a little advice on how to remain discrete when your lady arrives fo the appointment and there is a cardkey required to use the elevator (delta bow valley, specifically)?

Have her meet you at the elevators and call you when she gets there. Go down the elevator, but don't get out.
Or.
If you have 2 cards, go outside and hide one in a place that only the SP will know about from your phone conversation. (Sometimes you can get 2 cards if you ask.)
there is a 2nd floor mezzanine area that is more discreet and accessible to the elevators, just request your lady to meet you there. access is by the main stairs that go upto the conference area / plus 15's
I just come down to the lobby a few minutes early and meet her when she comes in. If I don't know exactly what she looks like, it makes it even more exciting.
