Besides looking like she had her hair cut by a six year old, this news anchor has to have the most annoying on-air personality since Fran Drescher. WTF was Global thinking when they put her on the Evening News?? Perhaps it was her unprofessionalism that won them over? I've never seen a news anchor that reacts to the stories the way Deb does. Fuckin' lame. I can't watch the bish.

She's been around for decades, she used to co-host the Noon News with Jim Hart. She is a mother, and did stories about Mothereese, a language that Mothers use to talk to their babies, and for years she used to do the news like that.

She must work cheap or something. She has annoyed me with her unprofessionalism and stupid comments so much over the years I usually skip any GlowBall newscast with her. I have NEVER heard her get through a story without stumbling over a word. A real sign of how mediocre is the talent on that station.

I have met Deborah Hope and she is very down to earth, but I too cringe at her on air antics. I have also met Pamela Martin, and I agree with some of the other posters, she is quite phony. I remember her as a burnette and now she is blonde and obviously using botox.

As for Jill Kropp, if you don't like her talking, maybe a BJ would help her keep her mouth otherwise occupied. Willing to take one for the guys on this on

Check out Colleen Christie on Channel 9(not the best looking but oh those legs), 5pm news. Around 5:50 she sits down with Rhonda Low(oriental doctor)
and they discuss medical issues. The great thing is they both have great legs, and sometimes when they are wearing short skirts, one gets a nice view of the thighs(some cameramen are better then others and keep the far away shots, rather then closeups of the faces),

I personally don't like Pamela Martin. She comes across so fake on the air especially when interacting with the other newscast members during transitions be it to/from the weather or sports. Her fake laugh is so annoying. Plus she's totally gone down looks wise with age. Some people age well she didn't. Time to send her to the retirement home.

Have to agree with you about Pamela Martin StiffDead. She looks likeshe's been ridden hard and put away wet. A number of the older gals end up moving over to reading the news on a local radio station. Pamela should consider that.

She used to be a Global reporter here in Edmonton up until a couple of years ago. Last time I saw her on the Vancouver channel, she had a wedding ring on her finger the size of the Rock of Gibraltar.
