So many scary posts here heh! All governments lie, FB is watching you, everybody is watching you. Well seriously, it's not far from truth, guys.
Just noticed LeoList became Secure now: https://www.leolist.cc/secure
Backpage isn't. Perb isn't. That's a real security concern nowadays.

Actually I noticed today that most websites I use are already Secure: Facebook, Google and Instagram. Found it weird that BP and CL are not, will not use them any more (LL is better in vancity anyway). Perb is ok because I never share anything personal here ,)

pretty well all major websites are now encrypted.

In essence the software that makes websites work do encryption "for free" as it is the default mode of operation. Perb just needs to be brought up to date too.

Well thank you @FredZed, perb is now using encryption with an up to date cert. I think some php needs to be updated as some static image content is still being served over http, but the main site is working over SSL now. Thanks!
