oh fuck dude.

You think it's an easy buck. You'll loose everyting, just a matter of time. Have you been watching too many late night infomercials? Or reading too many get rich quick books? do you know why those clowns are making money off making commercials and writing books and not actually doing what they claim is so easy, and that is day trading? Think about it for a sec.

Sure, you might make money your first day, week month or even quarter, but eventually you'll loose it all. I know countless stories of how people lost thier homes. I lost 70g myself once before I learned my lesson. lol.

Hookers are a better bet. At least you get laid at the end of they day.

you can day trade any stock but obviously you want one that has
enough movement per day to cover your commissions ... and you need
an account that will allow you to trade stocks within the same day.

forget about the 'options' in oil or currency ... they make it sound
so simple but reality is that you use huge leverage to make trades
and you are on the hook for any losses!!!!!! So you 'leverage' your
ten grand into $100,000 bucks and lose it all ... YOU OWE $100,000
DOLLARS !!!!!

My advice is to follow some stocks 'on paper' and watch how they
cycle (if they don't then don't trade them) and see if you can
make money ... then split your investment money into 3 piles ... one
you start trading, the other to cover your ass and the third to
start over when you get wiped out.

I use TD water house, I started small using $ that i could afford to lose. The TD water house (web broker) does have action notes and make comments on some stock.

I am NOT a sophisticated trader by any means, but I have managed to double my money so far. Its fun and you can learn as you go.

Money could be made hand over fist during the Nasdaq run in the 90s and early 2000 but I dont know about now. I havent heard of a big trend in people wanting to daytrade since the Nasdaq fell from 5000 to its current levels.

Paycheck to paycheck is hard as hell to live but daytrading could lead you to paycheck to payday loan places quite easy.

Thats a pretty bad way to respond to people when you are started a thread and asking people to " talk to you".

I've already responded but clearly if I see you start another thread I wont even open it due to your maturity level. I suggest others do the same.

yeah, well...

join the club.. everyone else did too..

Not to worry.. unless you sold this week, it's only a paper loss. I lost on paper too, but whatever.. I just look at it as a buying opportunity and I will ad more of what I have when prices drop even furthur..

Up and down, up and down.. It's the nature of the beast. I'm still WAYYYYYYYYYYYY up this year and last, so I'm not complaining..

Same thing with real estate.. on one hand I want prices to go up for obvious reasons, but on the other hand I want prices to tank in order to buy more.

Fuck.. the TSE is too high to invest in, RE is too high too.. the only place left to spend money is on hookers.

volitility is good

This thread is about "daytrading" right?
The market this week was great for daytrading!
Remember there's two sides to every trade-buy and sell.
Who says you have to buy first to make money?
Shortselling may be a tough game because theoretically your losses are infinate but it can be quite profitable if you have the stomach for it.
I don't think this market volitility is over by any means.:D

You're missing my point Joe.We are talking about "day trading".I play both sides of the market. Why limit yourself to just one?
For me a day is a long term hold.I may be in and out of a stock in a matter of minutes if the volume is there.
I want market corrections and rebounds,I make my living on market fluctuations.Having said that,I don't have to know what the market will do Monday, next week or next year.I care what happens in next 5 minutes. If I "knew" what was going to happen on Monday I'd be called a "broker",lol...
I will say I like some junior gold and uranium plays...
