Daytime soap opera fans?

Anyone care to admit being a watcher of daytime soaps. I for about one month now have watched the Young and the Restless. Havent watched since the late 80s when One Life to Live was on.

It takes a certain type of person to watch a daytime soap opera and I'm definitely not one of them, I'm not sure what posseses people to waste their time doing so.

Ouch. Its only 40 mins fast foward commercials! Not half the day. To me its kind of like comfort food.

I'll confess to having watched two or three episodes a few years back. Wanted to see what it was about, and not as bad as I expected actually.

What is the difference between watching soap operas and reality TV? People watch both to fill their time in..... Also humans are suckers for a storyline.....
