I was raised by a single mom (and hell yes they are Sacred!!!) and I can tell you that even as a kid you can tell the user/loser guys from the good ones ,
even when a grown woman is conned by her own physical and emotional needs and desires .

So very true.
My mom remarried when I was 12. I left for "greener pastures" when I was 16. Stepfather was divorced with kids of his own and was a control freak disciplinarian with plenty of his own baggage from his abusive father.
Took me years to understand the sacrifices my mother made for our sakes. Her decisions weren't necessarily the greatest, but she tried her best.
