No, that's not another thread about if you would date a sp. Actually is about a date which i went to and suddenly I became paranoid that the girl might be a SP.

I went for a coffee on a first date with this girl I met in downtown. She seems pretty normal, not so much my type but since I'm single I thought I could give it a try. But I got a bit paranoid as we started talking at some point and she told me she lives in yaletown. I suddenly found that strange and asked her how much she was paying for her flat. I was looking for flats and I know the area is not very cheap. She told me she pays 1450 for her flat and she lives alone. The point is, she told me she doesnt have a degree and works as a housekeeper. She is from Hungary and said she sends money to her family to help them. She is saving money to do a trip in europe this year.

Maybe this hobby is messing with my head but how much can a housekeeper makes to be able to afford a 1450 rent, send money to family and save money for travel? I have a quite well paid job and my apartment is not that expensive. Since I'm doing this "hobby" here in vancouver I see that lots of the girls have their incalls in yaletown, so my head is just confused if she coudn't be a sp.

Maybe I'm just paranoid. What do you guys think?

House Keepers/maids make a minimum of $20/hour, and often closer to $40/hour. I'm sure the hours are variable, but of the house keepers I know, none work less than 25 hours a week. That gives a realistic earning of $2000-$4000/month. She may or may not declare her income.

Of course it is possible that she is a companion. It is also possible that she legitimately works only as a house keeper, that she has another job that she didn't feel like mentioning, that she had substacial savings when she moved here, and a host of other possibilities.

not every woman is going to open up about herself immediately to someone she just met. If she seems interesting then give it time and be the kind of person that she feels she can open up to. Already I'm guessing that may not happen as you just posted a bunch of personal and potentially identifying information about her on this forum. Perhaps her intuition was correct. Naming someones location occupation and income online does not exactly show that you are someone that can be trusted with someone's personal story. That can be very dangerous for a woman.

If she is working illegally she is unlikely to be paying tax, so her effective salary would be much higher than a local girl. That means she would be able to afford more.
