I have a good feeling about the Montreal Canadiens. Perhaps this is the year after a prolonged drought the Stanley Cup comes home.

I'd rather put my money on yet another Vancouver riot before the Cup comes back to Canada.

I actually stepped back after the Canucks choked on the Stanley Cup run of 2011. Had to tune out for my own sanity.

The only way the Canucks will win a Stanley cup is have a new ownership. There is curse on the present ownership. They wil not win a cup unless there is a change of ownership period. I am more of Edmonton Oiler fan. Canucks just keep on Sucking every year.

Haha, besides losing the cup b2b years, you'll be in worse pain in couple years when McDavid leaves or gets traded... No 1st rd pick this year and either '27 or' 28 depending on a deferred pick via trade..

Makes sense trade him and get at least 3 1st rd picks from someone..... Hyman's also a free agent same year as McDavid.... Does drai wanna stick around without McDavid.... Don't forget Bouchard nurse and Walkman makin around 30 mill combined

At least canucks finally admitted to a full on rebuild

As Don Cherry used to say you need good goal tending in the playoffs.
And a big sized team, who can hit and wear down the superstars...You can't score if you are being hit hard and checked all the time. Big Players who can take a hit and give it out and stand up at the blueline- old fashioned hockey, beat them into the ice... In 2011 the Bruins were a bigger team then the Canucks, 2nd part was extremely bad reffing....

Critical game tonight for Montreal. They had some bad luck in game 3, having the winning goal called back due to Caufield being offside could have made the difference. Didn’t expect Vegas to sweep Colorado.

Ha, Habs better start getting a lot more shots in goal lol. Last gm, 12 shots in total -- 4 periods -- ain't gonna plaster wins for you. Hurricanes are out shooting them badly. If it wasnt for Dobes, it could have been a real disaster.

It was maybe in 2023 when Las Vegas won the cup, prior to the start of their home games Wayne Newton was in the crowd cranking an old siren. My co-worker who was not familiar with Wayne Newton asked me who the old guy with the plastic looking face cranking the siren was.

I think the Habs are done. They won the first game with adrenaline and the Canes had too much inertia to overcome with the long time off. The Habs should be proud of whatever they have managed to accomplish in the post-season and will figure out how to be better next season.

The total flameout by the Avs was a surprise! Yikes!

Will be interesting to see what the SF looks like between Canes and Knights.

Habs are done the way this is going. End of the 1st they're already down 3 - 0. With habs getting eliminated. I don't care who wins Lord Stanley. American winning streak of 3 decades continues. If I had to choose...I'll cheer on Vegas.
