I saw Cute Cuddly Chloe aka Kristina aka GirlNextDoor 3585 about a year ago and had an ok time. I'm writing this because I'm a little creeped out by her. After our encounter she kept texting me saucy photos, not such a bad thing until I started going out with someone new. I asked her to stop and didn't hear from her again thankfully. I'm creeped out because somehow she now shows up on my Facebook under "Find Friends" with her real name. The creepy part is I use a fake first and last name on Facebook and my phone number isn't part of my profile so there's literally no way for her to show up unless she's looking for me. Creepy!

I googled her real name out of curiousity, and I can safely say she does not understand the words discretion or tact. I'd advise anyone who values these traits to be extra careful with her.

It's actually not in her control to show up as one of your suggested friends. Do you use the same browser for hobbying as you do for personal social media? Chances are your cookies were saved and this is why she popped up as a suggestion. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. It's all the same. Unfortunately, privacy settings aren't the only things you need to be aware of when you are online.

Try viewing perb or other industry related sites on "Incognito" on your browser to avoid things like this.

Its entirely possible you have a friend on your list that knows her personally. I know her real name because shes RL friends with a mutual friend of mine. Fortunately ive never "seen" her but seeing her on my friends page commenting/conversing was a little strange.

No mutual friends, and I clear my internet history every day pretty much. The only explanation I can think of is she saw my business page and tried to find my personal profile from it. Pretty unsettling and creepy imo.

No...facebook shows you possible friends or "people you may know" based on mutual friends or friends of friends etc, or could be even a page or group you are both interested in...so the odds are good she is a friend of a friend..You're reading way too much into this. If she hasn't tried to contact you or friend request you, then why worry over nothing? One of the better explanations i found after a simple google search:

"Facebook features people as people you may know through connections on your profile like mutual friends, work or education information, networks, etc. For example: If both of you add the same college in your education then you both will be shown on people you may know on each other's profile. Or if both of you have a large number of mutual friends then Facebook guesses that you people might know each other. And so the recommendation follows. But it's you who controls to send a friend request or not. Facebook never sends a request on your behalf"

This is a legit concern, and this is why you should be low profile when youre doing this. I never actually mention what i do for living etc. when asked. I actually had a same incident with different sp whose profile was popping up on find friends, and now i see it was not an accident.

Someone who only had my phone number only (not email) showed up on a "People You May Know" email from Facebook to me. My guess is that the facebook app on her phone grabbed her phone contact list and connected us through my phone number. I don't have the Facebook app. If you want privacy, you probably want to use burner phones as a client, don't give FB your phone number (I am going to delete it from my FB profile), and not to run personal apps with your business phone if you are a SP.
