I'm cut. I know many others that were snipped as adults like myself and we all vehemently concur - being cut rocks. If I could handle it as an adult I fail to see the barbaric torture mothers claim it brings newborns. It's cleaner, looks better, and best of all feels better than when I was uncut.

Cleaner and looks better can be debated and tend to be subjective so to each there own BUT what I am curious is how it feels better? Foreskin contains a large number and variety of nerve receptors and i believe it is easily the highest density found in the penis; this would lead one to believe the opposite is true. I have heard of men who were snipped as adults saying they have increase time to climax but that is likely because they have removed so many nerve receptors which suggests if there is a marked change in the pleasure level it would be a reduction.

Only non muslim (or jewish for that matter) country in the world where the majority of males are cut is the United States, and it began for puritanical reasons 100 odd years ago as they thought the boys would stop jacking off. Unless it is for religious/cultural reasons why bother.

The health concerns seems to no longer have much backing because if they had validity, then all of European and Asian males would be dead due to all these apparent risks.

Do we lob off all females breasts at 16 because 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer?? Then why cut males for minor medical reasons that effect less than .1%?

Aesthetics is personal, fair enough so let adults decide on that one.

did they provide you with some anesthesia? That would be the difference. Babies get cut without.

Being uncut and being unclean are not synonymous. Maybe you were unclean before you were cut ... but not everyone is.
Exactly.
But it makes sense that someone seeking to get cut as an adult would have nothing but glowing things to say about the end result (unless there was a botched procedure).

I had a male nurse attend me and he recommended not having my son cut. He had it done when he was in his teens and regretted it...also, fewer doctors are competent at it, these days, cause there are fewer requests...if a fellow did want it done, he would be wise to do his homework.

I prefer uncut. Cut and uncut cocks look the same when they are hard, but the uncut has a nice 'glide' action that really rubs the insides in a cool way. Sometimes a cock that is cut can chafe, I'm guessing cause there is no 'give'.

I've met guys who were cut a little too much, so that they could blister with friction, and I've met guys who were officially 'cut' but still had a good bit of slack skin when they were soft...so the success of your outcome would depend on the doctor doing the cutting.

BTW....the foreskin is unique to skin on any other part of the body, able to produce (sweat) a small amount of lubrication. Seems a waste to cut it off.

The only reason to do it as an adult would be if your foreskin is too long, i.e. when your equipment is fully erect, the foreskin is still covering the head of said equipment. Otherwise, you are killing a lot of nerve endings for nothing, IMHO.

I am cut and have been with uncut men. I need lube to jerk and they didn't. That is one reason to keep the skin

Provided that they are smegma free?

I am sorry. I read every single word in this thread and I never saw the word smegma so I wiki'd it and it came back with a terrible picture

Smegma (Greek smēgma, "soap"[1]) is a combination of exfoliated (shed) epithelial cells, transudated skin oils, and moisture. It occurs in both female and male mammalian genitalia. EWWWWW!!!!!:fear:

I will not post the picture for fear of offending anyone...which btw, i never do purposely....lol.....:pound:

edit: there is a word for it!!!?!?!!!!:fear:

Uhm.. I believe it is more colloquially known as cock cheese.

I guess none of these shirts for you then?

I'm pretty sure smegma happens to everyone...

I'm going to give the warning to sit down before you read this next bit.

I dated a guy in high school who was cut so tightly that if the room was NOT boiling hot (we set the heat to 27 about an hour before sex everytime) his dick split open because of the skin tightening up from the "cold". Like, holy fuck if that wasn't the second most horrifying thing I saw in a penis.

#1 was a guy who had a botched fix to hypospadias. The only way I can describe it is if you split an earthworm open, turned it inside out, and sewed it back together.

Of course that's not every cut guy by any means - but my point is unless it TRULY TRULY needs to be done (TRUE phimosis that cannot be treated with steroid cream, a severe hypospadias repair, severe chordee, untreated diabetes, etc) or you have strong feelings about it cosmetically (and are okay with the potential negatives of premature ejaculation, overstimulation until the head keratinizes - which means forms a callous btw, ED later in life from the callous/dimished sensation - see a guy who was cut at birth never knows any other sensation, but you do. Your body knows too) then I really REALLY wouldn't bother.

And I will say this - I have no real preference in bed one way or the other (though the gliding thing IS true, I dated an English guy and truly enjoyed BB sex for the first and only times in my life because of no friction) because it only applies to BB sex which I do not have. Aesthetically, eh. The intact one is cuter when it retreats for hibernation but that's about it. Hard they all look the same!
Yep, worked at Planned Parenthood. Saw a lot of genitals! Sup ;)
I thought they could reverse circumcisions?

I'd get that done if erections made my penis split open...

I also hope that you don't call clients' penises cute... that sounds like a blow to the ego even if said nicely.

Because I shared the fact I was cut I get the subtle jab that I was maybe unclean before? WTF. Way to be mature. I'd offer more suggestions for the OP but nah, I think I'll pass.

@ Missy...excellent comments. I know a guy who was cut so tight erections could be painful. Yet, there were others who still had enough slack to glide a bit.

I was under a lot of pressure to have my son cut; the father's family was adamant, but, my first lover was uncut and he seemed perfectly normal: over thirty and no health issues.

I found a book in a library on having circumcision reversed; it was pretty interesting. You cannot recreate the original 'type' of skin of which the foreskin is composed, however, you would get the funky glide sensation. Handjobs on guys with foreskins are fun.

I have noticed that older men who have been cut have much drier skin on the head. I suppose rubbing against underwear all day would suck the moisture out of the delicate skin. It would normally live it's life protected in a moist sheath.

mmmmm.....I wonder if there is a market for penis oil? Yeah, penis oil....little dab'll do ya!
