Newest book I am reading is Ancestral Jouneys by Jean Manco. Using genetics (DNA), linguistics and archaeology, the book talks about the first peoples of Europe and the migrations of peoples into Europe. What present day science is telling us about the history of Europe.
It tells the story of finding a straw in a haystack (the size of a barn) and determining history from that straw. Nowadays they have much more than just a single straw; they have many and its is turning how historical facts are changing because of the newer information coming to light.

Been wanting to read it for a while and finally found a used one for a decent price online.

Well I come accross this title "Answer to Job" by Carl Jung.
Read the forward on line and ordered the book
Started reading it the other day .It is a very deep thought commentary by Jung on our conscious, unconscious relationship with what we perceive God is and his nature of good and evil and how Gods nature changed through time to more human and in return that reflect on how each of our conscious is changed by bring our unconscious in to synchronicity with with it being how we live in our unconscious life and actions.
I just started to read it and Jung is not a easy read because he bounces around through all is ideas and explorations of human nature.
Though Carl Jung believed in the existence of God, Yahweh ,I have always recognized that the colective consciousness that Jung refers to is being one with God , and recognizing unconscious being part of us being in ,and from that entity.
Not sepret. Of course he is talking phycology, not religion .But if you have read something of Jung you will realize the struggle he had to understand believe and his attempt to help us all who have the questions and struggle.
