Are the Massage parlours around here pretty safe? There are none licensed where I am from and I am eager to check out the scene.However I am a little nervous. Any advice appreciated.

Is it "safe", in the sense that the police won't burst in and arrest you? Well, these MPs advertise publicly, the police are aware of what goes on, and I dare say they don't give a hoot. I never had the slightest problem in several dozen MP visits—though every few years one hears of raids that never seem to result in any charges.
Is it "safe", in the sense that the massage girls won't either try to rob you or give you an STD? I've never had any cause to fear the first; and as to the latter, of course you'll wear a condom—and use your own intelligent judgment as to whether the relatively small risks involved in things like DATY or BBBJ (if offered) or kissing are worth it to you.
Is it "safe", in the sense that having a great time is a safe bet? Your question reminds me of when I was green at this myself—and my own worst enemy when it came to enjoying hot ladies. Just go ahead, ring the door bell of an MP of your choice, make sure you have the expected donation ready, and everything after that will pretty much take care of itself. You'll quickly get the hang of it.
