After many weeks of battling a very severe bacterial infection picked up while pooning I am finally starting to feel better, although still have bad days. To all those who wished me better health, a hearty thanks. To all you who don't care, well neither do I. And for all those who keep writing things like, "we all know the risks, so stop mentioning safety..." you are idiots. Getting a serious illness is completely abstract and a non issue if you are healthy. If you suddenly become seriously ill that is all that you care about and it consumes all your energy and thoughts. To ignore safety concerns in this "hobby" is fooling yourself that nothing bad will ever happen. I've learned my lesson the hard way - hopefully with no permanent damage.

If I may ask....what happened? Just bad luck or did you fall off the safety wagon?

glad to hear that you are feeling better ... nothing sucks worse than being
sick (but I'm sure some names are about to pop up!)

the only 'good' thing (if I can use that term here) about bacterial infections
is that most are treatable and a full recovery is usually likely ... unlike viruses,
which have NO cure and outlast their host!

better safe than sorry!

Hope you don`t mind CT but to the unsafe conscious pooners out there it should be a wake up call. It happened to CT so if you think you`re immune, think again.
Risk is still risk no matter how you cut it.
