With the introduction of devices like the square credit card reader, I was wondering if any providers where going to start taking advantage of these devices and start taking credit cards? I know one provider that talked about using it but so far she hasn't advertised that she will start taking cards. Anyone know providers that do or thinking about it? I for one would prefer to use a credit card (being single I can), anyone other input on this?

I totally agree. Some of us don't have a wife and I only partake when single so it just becomes a convenience. I would of course only use a cc with a provider I know and can trust. As for writing it off....I consider this therapy.....good for the mind and body. That's covered isn't it
I know you are joking about writing off this service, but just to clarify in case somebody actually is planning on it - it's NOT a good idea ;-)
I've accepted credit cards for years (upwards of 85% of my income from being a companion is non cash based), and I know suitors have written it off in the past.
While my company name bills very discreetly, and could probably be easily written off, I have not and will not falsify paperwork or information to get your butt out of hot water if you get audited or re assessed.
I imagine most companions who accept credit cards have very discreet and industry neutral names. The goal isn't too allow you to write it off, but to ensure that the billing is discreet enough that it doesn't raise any eyebrows for anybody who may see your statement (whether that is a wife, a friend, a child, a boss or anyone else).

Dumb thing to use your credit card on? groceries,gambling and pooning. British Columbians carry on average $37,000 worth of consumer debt! That's nearly $6,000/yr in interest@ 16%
Using a Credit card to pay direct is just bad OPSEC. Hell I space out transactions and withdrawals for stuff if I can. All that data goes somewhere, Ever have a club card and buy a few items, and then a week later get coupons for the same or similar items. Data Mining. Don't forget what Haymitch said, grey area, I'm sure if LE wanted to make a case they just ask for your banking records.
That's a good point...most of my cash withdrawals in the last couple years are either $180 or $220 and usually around the same time in the evening.I'm really not worried about LE coming after me,though.
Would be nice if Sp's offered air miles too! Or visa's pooner gold card?
