Someday a married politician will get caught going to a hooker by the press and nothing will be made of it. Until man is no longer pointing fingers at his fellow man, that won't happen. Called it being human I guess. But we should always try to improve ourselves.

A few years ago, Craigslist was THE site with it's erotic services section. All the providers advertised on that site. Then came the Craigslist Killer from Long Island, N.Y.. After authorities found the bodies of more than ten murdered escorts, lawmakers in the US started to discuss taking action against CL. CL voluntarily removed the erotic services section.
That's when all providers moved to Backpage. While CL has ads for all sorts of stuff, like pets for sale, cars for sale, rooms for rent, ect. BP has only ever had escorts. BP didn't read the writing on the wall, and now they're paying the price.
CL, by removing the personals and therapeutic services, is simply trying to be proactive, stay out of the cross hairs and survive.
Leolist is Canadian, but they should still move their server out of the US.
For people looking for casual encounters but not with an escort, hopefully Doublelist will fill the void. If it doesn't, I'm sure another site will pop up and fill it.

How do you find their twitter account in the first place to be able to follow them? Sure, some have their twitter handle in their ad, but that means you still need to find their ad first. And I thought this thread was about finding them now that CL is no longer an option.

This is a sad time when CL is forced to dump the personal section. I used to poon about three or four times per week and posted a lot on perb for many years.
