Don't even read forget reply.
Delete her emails unread.
The most to say is hello, and only to be polite if she says it first.

The earlier advice was one-sided, yes. There should be a company policy on harassment / relationships, and it's not always as restrictive as people here assume.

There's a universal rule against affairs with a subordinate, and for good reasons. Harassment / unwanted advances - usually explicitly prohibited. Otherwise, consensual relationships are not always a concern for HR. In a larger company / different departments, the downsides are not that significant.

Don't do that over company email though. It is stored somewhere. There is likely a separate policy on email use that can be used against you.
A relationship (other than one between a boss and underling) is not any concern of the company, unless it causes disruption in the workplace. However, if one or both parties are married to third persons, and it becomes common knowledge in the workplace, then it would become something HR may intervene in due to the disruption something like that would cause.

As a general rule you should not have a relationship with anyone in your company that you work with or could expect to interact with a frequent basis. It is just a stupid thing to do, and will create a lot of problems when the relationship fades or ends.

in your situation what might happen is this " Recently she mentioned her husband had told her she is a MILF. I responded that I would try to pick her up if I saw her at a bar and I told her she is a MILF. She thanked me for the comment."

The above could get changed to this when she talks to her other co workers about you He said that he would try to pick Me up if he saw me at a bar and he told me That I was a MILF. Even though he Knows I have a husband should I talk to the boss about this ?

I mean thats what you said right :gossip:
In the OP's situation there is no changing anything, because she e-mailed him. The correct version is on the company's backups, so there would be no denying or rephrasing going on. The only person who would get fired in that instance would be the woman sending these emails, not the guy receiving them.

Malicious Gossiper...now that would dangerous. I think I will back off emailing her. And see if she will just talk face to face. But if she comes to the staff Xmas party without her husband, and invites her self to my room then I will see where it goes.

This reminds me of a great movie I saw years ago:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243493/?ref_=nv_sr_2

It is absolutely hilarious! At one point in the movie an executive is taking some Japanese investors on a tour thru his company building in after hours. They look down into a room and two of the employees (one being the main character in this movie) are having sex on an office table. The company happens to be a condom manufacturing company so the quick thinking exec says that the 2 employees are doing product testing. The Japanese execs are clearly impressed lol.

This movie is 15 years old now but I suspect it has aged well and I definitely recommend it!
