CLIENT INFORMATION
Things have changed for our industry and we want clients to know that we care about your health during your visit. We are all taking precautions to minimize the risk of transmission during your visit.
COVID-19 is a respiratory infection caused by a newly identified virus. The infection has symptoms similar to other respiratory illnesses, including the flu and common cold: cough, sneezing, fever, sore throat and difficulty breathing. Other symptoms can include fatigue, muscle aches, diarrhea, headache or lost sense of smell. While most people infected with COVID-19 experience only mild illness, severe illness can occur in some people, especially in those with weaker immune systems, the elderly and those with chronic medical conditions.
HOW is COVID-19 Spread?
COVID-19 is spread through liquid droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The virus in these droplets can enter through the eyes, nose or mouth of another person if they are in close contact with the person who coughed or sneezed. COVID-19 is not transmitted through particles in the air and is not something that can enter the body through the skin.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
There are no set rules for re-opening and so each business will implement a plan which best fits their space. So depending on where you visit, the plans will differ from place to place.
Please respect the measures put in place by operators which are implemented for both your safety and the safety of workers.
Some things to consider when booking an appointment;
You may not be able to have a spur of the moment or “walk-in” session at this time as many businesses are accepting clients on an appointments only basis at this time. Please be patient and expect that you may have to plan your session a little in advance.
If you are asked for contact information for use in the event of possible exposure (contact tracing) be aware that you do not need to give your full name. A pseudonym will be sufficient example - Hatrick or Joe. Not all businesses will ask for this information and it is not required. If you are contacted about possible exposure, no mention of where you were exposed will be discussed and no personal/ identifying information about you will be kept or stored. The business will only need to keep your contact info for 14 days and then it will be destroyed.
You maybe asked questions like;
If we all work together we can ensure as a community we do not contribute to the spread.
We want you to know
these measures are for your health and ours.
We look forward to seeing you again!
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us!

Some things to consider when booking an appointment;
- PPE like gloves should not be worn from the outside into the business. Remove all PPE upon entering the Business to prevent spreading any traces picked up outside.
- You may be asked to shower before the appointment. At this time this is an important measure to prevent transmission.
- Consider if you may place any person such as an elderly relative at risk if you contract the virus. Those people who come into contact with at risk populations should consider not visiting at this time.
- If you work in front line health care or are in a situation where your risk of contracting the virus is higher, please consider not visiting at this time.
- Because COVID-19 is a respiratory illness, kissing is a high risk for contacting the virus and is not recommended at this time.
- Because the virus has been shown to transmit via semen, BBBJ is not recommended at this time
- If you are worried about the risks of a visit, ask your provider what measures they have put in place to protect your health.
