Cost for Hotels/Motel/Inns in Vancouver

Hello all.. I've never rented a room for a night before at these places.
and i was wondering how much does it usualy cost to rent a room for a night?

which part of Van? closer to DT the more expensive ...

if you don't mind a commute, there are some 'deals' at Metrotown,
and the Skytrain to DT is right there (lots of shops and hot chicks too).

also nice but a bit pricey are places like the Lonsdale Quay or
Granville Island ...

otherwise, figure on a solid $100 a night for a bed in a room ...
