You are completely correct imfray, unfortunately there are so many people like the poster you quoted who do not care about the ramifications of their actions. That's what makes me worry that life as we know it may have changed forever. It's a helpless, hopeless feeling knowing you are relying on bitter, selfish people who are totally devoid of a conscience. I am usually an eternal optimist but I can't shake the pervading thought that "this time, we're in trouble".
So True. California just announced a stay at home order . Which is the same as work stoppage, People cannot be trusted to often make the proper decision when it comes to the greater good. US numbers rose 5000 today and authorities there speculate half of the state will infected in 2 weeks.
We will see work stoppage state by state and slowly start to see it in Canada when the numbers get higher..
What's troubling me is they are only announcing confirmed, tested cases as new cases. PHO confirmed this today. There are people who have been diagnosed as having it (presumptive cases) but they aren't deemed worthy of testing so they aren't in the stats. There was a lawyer on CKNW 980 today talking about a doctor diagnosing her but she was just sent home to isolate and no test.
