Yeah, they were institutions for years, didn't see either until later on, wished I had done so sooner, although I might have gone bankrupt. So different, but so the same, professional to the nth level, but playful enough you'd think you were on a college co-ed date.

I'd bet they'd still be in most hobbiests top 5 if they were working today. The industry misses them.

The only way to effectively collect the funds for this enterprise might be etransfer and i know a lot of people will be turned away because of that.

Unless you want to setup a anonymous donation box somewhere which will be stolen in less than 5 mins considering we are in Winnipeg

I'd imagine there would be options available for providers who are already on a platform like OF or something.
I know there are tips and polls, but I wonder if those platforms already offer something like lottery/draw management? Which would possibly solve most the issues raised here

Actually running a draw could be a good way for a provider to drive new users to their OF (or other platform)

It's up to SP to collect the funds. Just like there are members that don't do deposits there will be members that won't do a $20 e-transfer. Those that want to partake will. Those members that see the specific sP running the contest can always pay an extra $20 at their appointment. Maybe the contest can be a month long.

This will now be left in any SP's hands that wishes to give it a try. Thanks for all the input !

Well, you could suggest SP's do a raffle with thier regular clients... an extra $20 goes into a draw, and when it hits the SP's hourly rate, she draws a name for a free session.

Interesting idea. Id think the provider would should wait for a total higher than a session though.
But I would find it quite compelling to enter, because it would be a smaller pool. meaning better chance.

And if someone wants in, but doesnt already see that provider, it would make them need to book at least 1 regular time.

it still has the risk of trusting the provider, but I think being focused on regular visitors, there is already probably a bit of trust there.
