what is my course of action if i had the misfortune of having the condom break and only finding out afterer we finished up

Hi Ricky,

There is treatment for the HIV virus if the window of infection is within 72 hours. Its heavy meds but I believe it can be contained and killed. As for other STD's there is a window period that you have to wait to see, but most of it does have treatment. I would say if you believe you've been exposed to HIV, I'd go to a STD clinic ASAP.

They should know the number, its better taking precaution than not. Make sure you tell them you may have been exposed, and they should give you the proper instructions.
