I think I set a new record for myself. One and a half hours for a trip that usually takes seven to ten minutes. Evidently I was one of the luckier ones, as I was on the road not too long after the accident and still on the early side of the Friday rush hour.

How about everyone else? Anyone here get hooped by both the bridge closure and the water main break in one commute? Was the rumour of another accident on the #1 southbound before Ironworker's Memorial actually true?

Here's your place to vent... ;)

I was downtown in Coal Harbor on business and left just after 4:00. I got back to my office just outside of Chinatown at 5:30. Everyone was heading east to go over the Second Narrows, there's contruction along Hastings, Cordova and Pender and there were 2 emergencies requiring an ambulance and a firetruck. What can u do ?

I drive about 3 hours a day, and fly about 3 hours every week. So commuting is nothing for me.
