I'm so glad I've moved downtown and don't have to commute anymore! I don't miss all that crap. I feel for ya BBB! Kisses to make it better!!

Chef- you think everyone should stay in the rigt lane even in rush hour bumper to bumper traffic? I get the left lane passing thing but that only works when it's not congested, no?

Vanessa, your picture made me forget what this thread was about. I love the muscular structure of your back and shoulders, the rest of your backside is wonderful too.

If you ever come to Edmonton, give me a shout, I would love to spend some time tracing the definition on your body.

Now back to the thread, lol!

It's actually taught and is supposedly safer; in case the driver behind rear-ends you, there is a higher chance you will not be pushed onto the car in front of you. You also have a safe distance to move to (escape route) if the car behind you can't stop for some reason.
I was taught that the best place to stop is the spot where your are still able to see the bottom of the rear wheels of the car in front of you. That way you leave yourself enough room to pull out if the car in front of you suddenly decides to turn left without signalling in advance.

All lanes were full. It didn't matter if I was in the fast lane or the right lane it was bumper to bumper. I was not hogging the lane and given the chance I would have been cruising at 120 but the speed was a gruesome 60 k max.

I took offence at being tailgated too fucking close. I gave the Volvo driver plenty of warning of what was coming up "soon" and he chose to get closer to try to force me out of the fast lane. I stomped on the brake just as he was taking a big swig of coffee.
Then good on you, I hope the coffee was piping hot...

You should reread that, because the jokes on yourself cowboy...why wouldn't you help someone in a time of crisis?

Didn't your mom teach you?

If you have nothing nice to say....

really don't say Anything at all.
i always help people in times of crisis... however, a woman that shoots her mouth off unnecessarily in an environment that is likely to get them in trouble, then yaps off because the male population doesn't rush in and fight their fights for them, to me does not equal a crisis at all

a much more appropriate response would have been to take cell phone in hand (yes, they can be used as telephones), call 911, and give the dispatcher a description of the incident, the license plate number and description of the vehicle and the location and direction of travel. i'm sure one of the lower mainland's finest would have been delighted to attend to the gentleman's needs... and you would have been spared the trauma of the 'crisis'
