I sent her an e-mail requesting for pictures/info yesterday. This morning she adds me onto her msn messenger and request for my picture before she will disclose anything about her. She told me that after I send her a picture of myself then we can talk on the phone.....its a little bit suspicious to me. However; looking at the ADs on CL. She is not the only one thats doing this. Is this a new trend ?

Looking at this from the SP's point of view it could be a little suspicious if you refuse to provide a pic. They don't want to end up with someone who's fat, ugly, hairy and smelly any more than we do. Guys here are always pestering the girls for pics, so is it unreasonable for them to request the same?

Of course she could just want to keep your pic and use it for blackmail afterwards.

Hmmm, well, truthfully, as an MP/SP, I haven't ever asked for pics before discussing and confirming things. The most important thing - smell - can't been seen in a picture . I'm not "perfect" (well, *I* think I am... but... ), so I can't expect anyone else to be. I enjoy the men who come to me because when someone's out to have fun, they are a happy person

Thats the impression i got, she is not seeing any asian because she is scared of being recongized/meeting someone she knows. On the other hand, it could very well be a prank!!

By 'CL' did you mean Craigslist or Classy Ladies? If it the later I would say it is entirely inappropriate.

If it is Craigslist (as I imagine it is) then it is understandable. Craigslist is open to anyone and she could be asking for a photo for several reasons.

One has already been mentioned, not wanting to run into anyone she knows. Another could be that she is a part-timer, or a lady just entering the profession, and she wants to screen her clients. Perhaps she will only agree to see people who appeal to her. While this will not likely be good for business, it is her prerogative to do so. If, as a potential client, you do not want to send a picture then scratch her off the list and keep looking.

Personally, as an unattached pooner who does not hide his activities, I might just send her a picture and ask to see one of her. She could just be a gem waiting to be discovered. In the past I found a couple of these on Livelinks. They were new and just dabbling in the business and wanted to meet first on the condition that we like how the other looks. I had no problem with this and in both cases had a great time with a newbie.

Then again, perhaps she wants to blackmail you...
