Clifford olson dying of cancer

How much of the taxpayer's money did we spend on this guy? How much is his funeral going to cost us? Unbelievable how tax dollars are spent on trash like him.

I know you're supposed to feel bad for someone when they get sick/die. but i have real trouble feeling sorry for this guy.
Then again part of me hopes that it had been a while where he really felt the disease's full strength.

I find it very disturbing that so many people rejoice in the painful death on another person even if that other person has been convicted of anti social behaviour.

I respect your buddhist faith.
I find it very disturbing that you identify a convicted serial killer as someone with anti social behaviour.
Why not call it bad manners?

Good grief your Holiness.

Anti social behaviour ??? This POS inflicted the most deviant, dispicable acts upon innocent children ever ... right here in our city. He made the children suffer in prolonged agony. Good grief your Holiness indeed !

That's what I thought! You said it way better than I would, thank you. He's a child kller, and he profited from the deaths. He was not human at all. He was a horrible evil monster. I'm so glad that the monster is gone. So the parents of those beautiful children don't have to protest his parole hearings anymore. Its over for them.

I totally agree with you Jewel. I also love to read true crime, and I must say reading about what this monster did gave me nightmares. I am actually very excited that he has cancer and will soon die. His crimes were horrific, and he did'nt care who he hurt. Now his death is captivating millions. I have heard some say it was sick that so many looked forward to the demise of another human being, to them I say there was nothing human about Olson. He is a monster.

I feel a little strange being the only or one of the only ladies to be so happy about this (at least to have commented on this topic) but hearing this has totally made my day. I'm a true crime reader and I read a book all about his crimes and have never been able to shake the sick feeling knowing there are creatures like this among us. Good riddance you maggot !!!! Burn in hell for all eternity !

i guess, my two cents.

i spent a few years on a farm and even today go out to some ones farm.

some animals you just cull. there no good they can't be controled there deformed whatever,
so you cull them there just taking up space food,

sad to say but some people are just like that, a waste of space, a waste of resources

more two cents.
my father was a convicted rapist, and i don't intend to defend him, he was an evil man,
but people always forget the victims, the hell that they went through

and perhaps still going through, not just the identified victim, but others as well.

and with all due respect to everyones spiritual sensibilites.
some people need to meet their maker

Sasha, did you know he used to live in our building ? He actually looked out across 'The George' (King George Hwy/Blvd) and spotted one of his young victims and ran out and went and got him. Anyways he's dead now so the poor families can hopefully get some peace.

whoa 7of9,if I read you right, you're in favor of culling the "deformed"??
surely you're not talking about ppl?

I 100%agree with culling monsters like Olson&murderers,peds,etc.
but NOT someone born with a hunchback or some other deformity.

I'm hoping I mis-read ur post

I was only 5-6 years old when he was committing these crimes and grew up in Victoria and still to this day his name makes my mom go white with fear . I truly think that monster was the reason my mom was such a over protective paranoid mom all my childhood. I didn't realize it until watching some of the old news footage this morning and the energy of everyone in BC was so afraid. People like him walk among us everyday and could even have profiles on here .. I always am aware of that.

OMG. So creepy. I am just glad he is gone. I hope this brings closure for the families, but lets face it, can you ever really get closure after losing a child in such a horrible manner?
