Clarification on pricing in this forum

So I’m coming in from Toronto and I’ve been checking out the forum here. When people say prices eg “220/hr” is that just the door price and tips are extra? Is that the average price?

sorry! I usually hit up MPs in TO and I get like “60/hr” then tips are YMMV but I’m usually spending 150 for a topless HJ with some touching.

Hard to say without knowing specifically what MP you're talking about but for most, $220 for FS will be the standard for an hour, before any upcharges.

There'll be some that will rent out the room to the girl and then you'll negotiate with the girl for price but from what I can tell those aren't incredibly common

The rate you see in the ad is the rate itself, and many ads will note any extras that can be added on. As far as rates go, they are similar here to Toronto. 300-500 is the price range for most reputable providers with some going higher. 220 or lower you can run into a lot of scams, fake photos, bait and switch or poor service.

I would highly recommend booking reputable providers, ones with good reviews, or with a reputable agency (you can see Indy or agency ads here just like on TERB). You have a PERB account so use the search function to look up provider/agency names and phone numbers here too. Good luck in your search.

Also I would highly discourage trying to negotiate our rates as a comment above as that will often turn into an immediate block, or at least being turned down as a client. It’s very disrespectful to try to negotiate our set rates. If someone tried to hire you offering a lower salary or price I’m sure you would not be excited to take up that job. If you want a great experience with us being respectful is always a great start.

oh for sure I definitely read that in the posted thread. Didn’t mean to come off like I want to negotiate I was just curious - this forum is a bit different than the one I use for Toronto so I’m just trying to catch onto the lingo.

Some of the massage parlors let you negotiate especially if you are there frequently or if it's a slow day for them. Not that I do that, but I do know it's common. Even with independents, I've had girls message me back offering a lower price even though I never asked for it, as if price was the reason I didn't book with them... I think it's tacky and rude to ask for discounts but for some cultures it's expected to haggle so there's a lot of misunderstanding there.

Some agencies /parlours are all inclusive, price wise and some you pay for the room and then negotiate with your lady. Some parlors have really low rates. Others are more expensive. Some people charge extra for everything extra they do. Others are all inclusive. One flat rate gets whatever they do. Others have a menu of a bunch of different activities at different rates. There is no real going rate. Some indies charge lower than $200 an hour. Some charge more than $700 an hour.

Ask them if the price includes topless as I've had a few ask if I wanted the top or fully nude for xx more if their add did not outline that portion.

Some men come from cultures where this is the norm to negotiate absolutely everything. Not just sex work. I used to immediately block but now I block based on the way the person asks and I’ll give one chance to educate and based on response, I usually block anyways haha. I had an East Indian (visiting from India)client offer me 100 off my 2 hour rate and I reacted angrily. And the guy was so apologetic. He had no idea. I saw him and he was sweet, apologetic, and tipped me $100 on my rate to make up for his transgression.

When I worked at platinum club and Swedish touch, you paid the room fee and then a hand job was $100, blow job was $200, and sex was $300, and msog was extra. But if a guy only had $250, we’d take it. The room fee at platinum club was $55 for the basic, $85 for the deluxe and $155 for the hot tub room. Swedish touch, the rooms were all $155

At a parlor that’s been closed for 2 decades now, that boss’s rule was the 100,200,300 rule but if a client only had $200 for sex (on top of the room fee) she’d fire you if you didn’t take it. She was evil tho.

I never worked at any of the cheap vancouver walk ins so I have no clue on pricing.

My website says negotiating is the quickest way to ruin a new friendship. I’ll get somebody trying to negotiate maybe once a month.

i think negotiating is also area related. I imagine the suburbs gets more negotiators than the west side of vancouver.

I agree and understand that negotiating is common in a lot of cultures and varying countries and when buying things. I try not to get upset over people who ask to negotiate my rates and explain to them I don’t negotiate my rates (I have this on my ads too, but many don’t read them). I don’t block people who try to negotiate and will give them another chance. I have had a few people ask to negotiate who did come back to me to book being fine with my rates.

I do wish more men would go through our ads as many of us state no negotiating on them. But in general, if someone asks to lower my rate it doesn’t make me want to really see them, and I know that I give my best service to those who are okay with my rates and where I genuinely do look forward to seeing. A good first impression is always a good thing to have.
