CL ads and flagging

I've noticed in the CL Fraser Valley section there's a handful of the same advertisers who have no issues and I see their same boring ads posted several times daily.

It seems that any time I see a newbie advertiser who is a lot of times younger than the regulars their ads are flagged quickly.

What is the point of this? It won't make me see the older and less attractive ones who post 40 ads a day.

I guess I should know, CL is pretty dead as an ad spot, but I still take a look and always notice this practice.

Anyone have any insight?

I completely agree. its true and sad. all the younger slim girls get removed furiously...and yes its always the same ladies on there who have no issues...I'm really not sure what is the problem, but that competition theory sounds right.

Also a tip to the guys/clients looking on CL - flagged ads that get removed regularly does not always mean the advertiser in question is illegitimate or a bad SP (in some cases it probably means shes pretty damn great and has a lot of jealous competition),

AND, ads that have weird lazy looking write ups, with phone numbers written like six OH four, three three 3, ate seven etc, or lots of*~ funky characters*~, not too much info etc - THIS is done to bypass the CL flagging system, after a while it gets difficult to post what you really want, and to write a proper ad, it almost is always guaranteed to get flagged automatically after a while (after constant manual flagging by others, it corrupts the system on their end), so the only way to get their ads out there is to disguise it so it goes through and actually gets posted. Ads don't just get posted within a few seconds after write up, like how this comment will get posted once I click "post". It goes through a process, filtering/screening, sometimes can take up to 30 minutes, a few hours, and sometimes it will get "ghosted", which means it will never get posted and eventually deleted.

Flagging may also mean that FS shouldn't be advertised and should only be for massage, but I think thats complete BS because others are advertising it and never get flagged. Also very explicit ads, graphic pics etc I agree those shouldn't be on there since its not officially an erotic section anymore.
