CL ad that wants your phone number..but not hers...

On my local CL board, there's an ad where the person says "contact them" so we can get together.

Once you email her, she then replies that she wants your phone number. I say that my number is private..she says "to bad"....if you want to meet her, you have to give it so you can get together.

What is the majority's view....I feel that she should give her number if she wants me to visit her.

What's the best way to approach something like this ? I don't want to spend extra $$ on a dispoable cell phone.

Dude why the heck would you even want to see someone like that that is hiding something. All reputable woman I have ever seen post their number. If the Sp doesn't accept private numbers then too bad. Why would I want anyone to have my personal cell #. Give your head a shake and move on to the numerous lovely ladies that are members here or other reputable sites.

The girls do it for their own safety. Almost all require a phone number, so they can call you and many do not provide a number for you to call them. You need to look at it from her point of view and do your thinking with your big head. JMHO

It is difficult to play without a phone, whether you dish out a number or phone with an unblocked number - exactly the same thing. Get a prepaid phone from 711 and keep it separate from your regular activities.

I'm thinking that that's the way I would have to go if I wanted to pursue this one particular SP. I've seen her ad for a few months and have played the "email" game with her a few times, but she's never given her number out first so I could call it. I hesitate to "reveal' my number if I don't know who I'm revealling it to, or have a number vice versa in return. The SP's who do ask that I use *82 first I will reveal because I have their number as well.

The other thing that crossed my mind with this SP is that once she has my number, who knows when she might want to call me back...anytime day or night

Passsss.....I have been dealing with one SP on CL who keeps changing her pics and cell phones and posting titles all the time so I finally said forget it. Not worth all the drama and mystery something is not right. Plenty of incredible women available that keep the same numbers and posting titles which makes me feel more secure. Pass dude.
