It almost seems like the majority of ads on LL are cause for hesitation. Too bad as it makes it all that much more difficult for legitimate advertisers.

No problem Dawgspeed. I just hate reading about nightmare experiences (and I've been a target myself). I don't spend too much time doing it because I think most of the time it's pretty clear when it's a scam (or a joke, or who knows what), but sometimes the ad looks pretty legit and I worry some people might fall for it.

Thanks for the tip. I asked for a verifcation pic, after hey asked for an eTransfer. She wouldn't provide one. Glad I didn't go through with it.

I really don’t understand why anyone sends an etransfer now a days considering all the scams, as soon as they talk about a “deposit” to hold my appointment or for whatever bs reason I move on to the next. I find more than half that are “visting or “brand new” aren’t real.

We should ask for a e-transfer and if we show up and they are not as advertised we keep it!
