Chinese money lenders taking nudes as collateral

This is a new one to me:

Short version: for lack of credit cards people can take out 3 year loans to buy a box of Oreos at monthly payments of $0.41. But if you want to borrow more like $1000-$2000, they ask for nude selfies as collateral and will release them to friends and/or family if you default on your payments. It's like blackmail in reverse.

Strange times.

The moral standards of this generation of Chinese people under Communist rule have gone to shit. This wasn't just frowned upon in the old days but would get you stoned (or tomato-ed) to death for being a cretin.

Yikes! Blackmail, extortion and boarder line forced trade. My heart certainly goes out to the people in these situations, it always blows my mind how someone could do these things to a person and sleep at night.
