Yes. She would probably say she is a woman but not a lady. She is autistic: she says that is what enables her to understand how cattle think, & she has revolutionized modern animal husbandry with her insight. She has also changed the understanding of what it is like to be a person with autism & other sensory disorders. I recommend seeing the movie about her, starring Claire Danes, or reading the autobiography it was based upon.
Since this is the "lets pile on Sybian" thread: I never got as far as "astronomical". I choked on "... chances ... is ..." and was too pre-occupied with gasping for breath to read the rest.
My SO hates it when I correct her writing. She knows where to find me. Sybian doesn't.
It's pretty safe to presume something is amiss if she usually replies within 24 hours and hasn't after 3 days. I Would contact her in your usually manner asking to see her for your normal date. If she still doesn't reply, she is telling you to move on.
I'm sticking to my use of astronomical ...no offence to Felix, but if you knew how much I struggle to get my point across, using the written word, you'd understand.
The chances of me noticing a grammar mistake,....are in fact astronomical.
Elsi is a pretty sharp tack, and the fact that she made a mistake and it was me who noticed it, with my less than stellar grasp on the written word, is in fact a million to one odds....
Does anyone here realize ,how long I'd have to wait to get the upper hand on that kind of a situation when it comes to Elsi Dawson, and her superior sense of humour, and intellect.

thank u again to all the providers and pooners that chimed in. with my regular today at our normal time. we have a standing time saved for me unless I call to cancel. everything is ok. she never got my original message, had issues imessaging. reference was given. gave me some expert tips I will share
a. always ask before throwing their name out
b. then let the reference know who she should be expecting and when
c. if u don't get a response right away wait a few days, try again. just no more then 2 tries.
d. if the possible reference says no do not be upset and pissy. respect her choice for whatever reason.
e. not all providers will accept the lady u give as a reference, do not be upset just say ok and ask who is ok. biggie one here, many providers are fly by night and not reputable so providers are vary.
