I'm a free enterpriser and whether it's a restaurant, clothing store, auto mechanic, lawyer or SP's, the market bears what the market bears. Whether I agree or not everyone has the right to value and price their services as they wish and it's up to me to decide if I want to pay it. No one puts a gun to my head. I saw Chastity early on and she is very attractive and provided good services. I'm a non f/s player so $ 300/hr is not something I'd pay anyone for the services that interest me.
That being said far be it for me to criticize some one for their fee schedule, SP's have the right to choose the business model that works for them and them alone.

Like every other service we pay for ultimately the market will decide.

Very True Mr. G about the market! At the end of the day this business in no different than any other retail business, will the market pay this price and can I sustain it or am I a flash in the pan. If I am charging $300/hr in the Wpg market my service level, in-call location, and the effort I put into my self (beauty / physical conditioning etc) better be in the top 3 to 5 in this market and even at that is it sustainable to the point where I can put significant dollars in the bank given the penchant for variety among pooners and the number of VG's or am I just getting by, seeing a handfull of clients/wk. Or do I look at my business model and say, I want to see 2 to 3 clients / day or on average 10 per week, can I do that at $300/Hr or do I go to 200 to 240 to get there. I don't know, what I do know $2000.00/wk at no taxes is a pretty damn good living.

Ji had a fee of $$$ and never negotiated - had one restriction and never allowed any negotiation on it either. I am sure many offered more.
She was always busy but she was exceptional, and even so, many never tried booking her because of the fee. Plus, repeating 2 or 3 times when she was here was just too much for the pocket book!!!

I agree with all the free market talk, don't get me wrong (although if you really think north America is any more of a "free" market than many communist nations, you should stick your head back in the sand). My point is that I think we should refrain from the "whoop-whoops" and "hazzahs" and contain our giddy excitement about our willingness to pay those higher rates and more. That is simply inviting a price run. Keep it to yourselves...you know who you are.

I appreciate that about as much as I appreciate my neighbor bragging about his new porsche. It is not in my ability to ever buy one, so shut the fuck up.

I often wonder why guys bitch so much with respect to what SPs charge. It's a market of supply and demand just like anything else. If a particular SP raises her rates and her business drops off to an unacceptible level, she will reduce them. If she continues to find customers willing to pay her new rates, they will stay inflated.

And let's face it, we're talking about winnipeg, not Montreal or Toronto, cities that are full of hotties. Winnipeg has slim pickings and if someone has been identified as good looking and a good provider, their services, compared to others will be priced at a premium level.

Oh Piper, we have more than our share of hot women. Sit on Broadway on a summer afternoon and look. Thing is because we have been so conservative, we don't have the volume of those beautiful women turning into SP's.
That is why the few that are hot....the point of this discussion for example...charge what the super hot girls from Montreal/Toronto charge. If these girls timed things so they came one after another, scheduled like they were local, then local talent would definately drop in price to compete. No disrespect, but I am sure that when Maxim is in town, some girls aren't as busy. If that were more frequent, then rates would drop.
Beauty being equal, and if what you charge is dictated by 2 factors....beauty, and services, then local talent has to factor in that they have less expenses, plus they have the ability to create a "regular".
Problem is that too many girls think that it is time they are charging for. They want the same money regardless of what service is provided, with the exception of greek it seems (50 dollars more).
So to follow that logic, it doesn't matter if the work they do is intense (lots of positions, changes, multiple shots on goal) or laid back (massage with happy ending) the price is the same.
The hourly rate for the "apprentice" should never be the same as the "expert".
Never.
Here there is no distinction.
There should be.

No fucking way am I paying $300 for a local girl unless she is tops in the city. Even then.

I reduce it to business.
That is what it is.
Girl that is blessed with a great body, and good looks, is no different than a model when they use those assets to make money.
The market will bear.
When average looking girls with average skills try to charge what beautiful women with sculpted bodies charge, there is something wrong.
Kind of like a crazy stock market. Bad investors cause problems that drive pricing up to the point of stupidity.
That is what has happened here.
Look at BP. Look at EC.
Look at the pricing being charged by some women.
Seems that some women get it, and have a $$ rate per hour, and they are women that I enjoy seeing. Sabrina, for example.
Maybe my goals are different than some.
Some people want a lot of variety.
I would prefer to find an SP that has a safe place, is discreet, attractive, clean, and doesn't try to make the client feel like they are the lucky ones, but understand that when you can make that kind of money an hour, that it is all about relationship.
If a girl gives me a bad deal, rushes, is rude, or ignorant, then I guess she learns that the internet is a great leveling device.
I had a supplier who was screwing me over on one part.
I told him when I got sick of his ignorant responses to my email asking if it was fixed a month and a half later, that

"you represent a part to me. 200 dollars that I will have to eat. but I represent posting all your stupid emails publically, plus going to your competition and making sure to write about all my experiences. Trust me, I will cost you more than a couple of hundred dollars."

He followed up with an apology and fixed my part.

Sometimes the women that screw us around need to understand the same thing.
A great performance gets a review like I did with Maxim.
A bad one, or clock watching, rudeness, late, etc, will get a review as well. Once that will cost at least one or two clients.
Maybe that will help.

Clive, well put indeed. I hail from the Peg, but moved away almost 20 years ago. And I'm familiar with the sights the summer brings on Broadway That said, I was a regulat in Winnipeg 20 years ago and at that time, at least in my opinion, the overall SP market was a lot better than I see today. I'm back next week for 5 days and was doing some research, but I have to tell you, I've only come across a couple of ladies I'd even think of seeing. Times have changed in the Peg, and not for the better..

Some of her exceptional reviews, were at 200/h, others 250/h, now questionable at 300/h. IMHO when i saw her at 200/h she was a top value sp. I loved **cking her at 200. My point is, with this one when you read the review, you really need to know what the guy paid.

Sometimes it is the business sense that is lacking. Let's see, when I was younger and hotter, I charged 200. Now that there are super hot women coming in for 300 I should be the same price. You would think local talent would adjust accordingly.
When you have girls from BLE that are beautiful, fun, full of energy, and dressed to the 9's to meet you....why go local?
