My first ever client flew me to Chicago to see the Stones about 7 years ago. I'll never forget it.

Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main St. are four albums I've been spinning for longer than I care to admit. Charlie's drumming on "Moonlight Mile" for some reason always stood out.

Other than the obvious, I had no idea he was such a talent. Read his bio - he grew up on the jazz greats and was a jazz man his whole life which is a tough gig for any drummer. Sad news indeed.

Saw then in 2006,2 rows from the stage. Mick sprinted the length of BC place field a couple times. Bonnie Riat was the opening act. RIP Charlie

I saw them sometime in the 90's with the same thought in mind. Never liked them that much, but have to admit. They were tight.

Rolling "Snake Eyes" is an inevitably in Life, but, I would have to think You lived as full a Life as anyone could Imagine . 🙄

This is as close to a Jazz song IMHO, as the Stones ever released .

Read a great story about Charlie Watts. Circa '85, Stones on tour, Mick, pretty drunk, middle of the night, calls Charlie's hotel room and says "Where's My Drummer?". Charlie, gets up, freshens up, puts on a suit, polished shoes and a tie and heads to Mick's room. Mick opens the door, and Charlie punches him in the face. Says "I'm not your drummer, You're My Singer".

Thanks for posting " All Down the Line" my daughter and I were jamming this song on the weekend and it sounds great on my '58 Les Paul. !
